This series is all about learning how to think biblically and theologically about our culture. It's a chance to take the ideas of culture that we are surrounded by and evaluate them for what is good and true, and what is evil and false.
In Acts 17:28, we see that Paul knew the poets of his own time well enough to quote them to people at the Areopagus and use them in his gospel proclomation. We want to be able to have the same skills and provide the same oppurtunity to invite people to hear the gospel as we think about contemporary poetry (the songs we listen to).
So, please nominate your selection for what song you'd love to hear played in church, thought about theologically, and used as a springboard to gospel proclamation.
